Sometimes credited as Napakapa Nakprasit, Mamee’s first film role was as the star of the 2001 horror film, “Mae Bia (Snake Lady)”, in which she portrayed a woman who has a symbiotic relationship with a cobra, grossed 52 million Thai Baht at the box office in 2001, making it Thailand’s tenth all time highest grossing film.
In 2005, Mamee starred in “Art of the Devil 2”, a thriller in which she portrayed a teacher at a rural school who was a victim of a cruel prank played on her by students. For her role in “Art of the Devil 2”, she was nominated for best actress by the Bangkok Critics Assembly. She was also nominated for best supporting actress by the Thailand National Film Awards.
Mamee starred with Kip Pardue and James Brolin in the 2009 romantic comedy “Bitter/Sweet” and in the 2011 action thriller “The Burma Conspiracy 2”. Mamee played the love interest of Tomer Sisely acting alongside Sharon Stone, securing her as one of SE Asia’s most successful up and coming actors.
Mamee currently splits her time between Los Angeles and Bangkok.
